Adidas Originals South Africa brings together the Durbanese artists, taking DJ Lag to new musical territories.
Adidas has been bringing together exclusive collaborations for the release of new products. After Kanye West, Beyoncé, Donald Glover and Mr Eazi, it is now DJ Lag and Shekhinah‘s turn to combine their creative powers for an exclusive track.
Both artists took followed a pop path, tempering Lag’s gqom signature to its essence to make room for Shekhinah’s catchy vocals. The music video shot by South African director Kyle Lewis features 3D visuals, a hip hop danser, VHS video grain and video mapping in an overall urban-themed aesthetic.
